Theo Schoenegger Returns to Wynn Las Vegas as Executive Chef of Sinatra

LAS VEGAS (September 5, 2019) – Wynn Las Vegas welcomes back Theo Schoenegger as executive chef of Sinatra, the resort's Forbes Four Star restaurant featuring modern twists on classic Italian dishes.
 
"After many years at Sinatra, the restaurant holds a special place in my heart and has been such a wonderful part of my career," said Schoenegger. "I could not be more excited to return to the Wynn team and work alongside the Sinatra family again." 
 
After departing Wynn in 2017, Schoenegger went on to become the executive chef of Maria & Enzo's Ristorante and Enzo's Hideaway Tunnel Bar at Disney Springs in Orlando, Fla.
 
Prior to opening Sinatra in 2008, he spent five years as the executive chef of Patina located at Walt Disney Center in Los Angeles.  Previously, he held the role of executive chef at Aquoria in Palm Beach. before reopening Rock Center Café in New York. Other career highlights include Aubergine Tantris in Munich, Germany as well as Palio and San Domenico in New York.
 
Growing up in the town of San Candio, Italy, just near the border of Austria, Schoenegger's love for cooking began as a child. Inspired by the time he spent with is mother in the kitchen creating authentic Italian dishes, he went on to attend culinary school in Merano, Italy at the age of 18. It was in 1986 that he decided to move to the U.S. and begin his career in the states. 
 
The seasoned chef will once again pay homage to Ol' Blue Eyes as he recreates the beloved artist's favorite menu items with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and signature Italian flavors. With dishes that include spaghetti and clams and osso buco, Frank's charisma and style are kept alive through the menu as well as the surrounding mementos and swinging music.
