World Poker Tour® Joins Forces with Wynn Las Vegas for Largest Guaranteed Prize Pool in Live Poker History

Las Vegas, NV (June 6, 2022)–The WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas is taking poker to new heights this December with poker's first $15 million guaranteed prize pool - the largest single live tournament guarantee in the history of poker.

The WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas runs December 1-20, 2022. The marquee event of the multi-tournament festival will be the $10,400 buy-in championship event which will culminate with a televised final table. The festival will consist of more than a dozen tournaments including three primary events: the Prime Championship, the Wynn Mystery Bounty, and the World Championship.

The WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas features three "Day 1" flights on December 12, 13, and 14 that will culminate with the crowning of a champion on Dec. 20. Each of those starting days will include a "freezeout" format, with players permitted a single entry per flight.

A second televised event between Dec. 8-12, the inaugural 2022 World Poker Tour Prime Championship, will carry a $1,100 buy-in and $2 million guaranteed prize pool. The festival wraps Dec. 16-19 with the $2 million guaranteed Wynn Mystery Bounty, in which players have a chance to draw for cash prizes up to $100,000 after eliminating fellow competitors.

At least 200 online qualifiers will attend the World Poker Tour World Championship, with hundreds more qualifying through various live satellites.
