LAS VEGAS (Sept. 10, 2018) — This January, international award-winning actor and comedian Chris Tucker will take over the Encore Theater for his Wynn Las Vegas debut. For one-night-only, Tucker will bring his standup talents to the stage in two back-to-back performances on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. PDT. 

 

Best known for his starring roles in the cult classic Friday and the Rush Hour film series, as well as HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Tucker has received global acclaim for his comedic style. In addition to the silver screen, Tucker released his first-ever standup film Chris Tucker Live on Netflix in 2015, marking his first project that he both starred in and produced.

 

 

Offstage, Tucker is a humanitarian and involved in philanthropic efforts through the Chris Tucker Foundation – a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in youth and families locally, nationally and internationally through the implementation of innovative initiatives and funding life-changing programs.
