WYNN LAS VEGAS DONATES OVER 7,000 MEALS TO LOCAL CHARITIES

LAS VEGAS (April 23, 2020) – Wynn Las Vegas is continuing its community outreach by once again partnering with local charities to donate meals to individuals and families who are food insecure. Beginning April 23, the resort will supply 1,032 total meals per day to Share Village, U.S. Vets, Ronald McDonald House and The Shade Tree for one week.

"We are honored and humbled to receive the meals that are being prepared by the Wynn chefs and staff," said Arnold Stalk, Founder of Share Village Las Vegas. "On behalf of our over 700 Veterans and their families, we would like to thank the Wynn for this showing of humanitarian compassion."

From assisting veterans to families with children in the hospital to sheltering women and children in crisis, each charity provides resources to hundreds of people in need every day. Over the course of the week, Wynn will donate a total of $36,120 in meals to these organizations.

"It is a privilege to take part in a small act that has a significant impact on our neighbors in need" said Mark LoRusso, executive chef of Costa di Mare. "Preparing nutritious meals has given us the opportunity to both engage with our community and work as a team to make a difference one meal at a time."

Since temporarily closing the resort in March, the Wynn Las Vegas food and beverage team has committed to preparing 21,000 total meals for charitable organizations across the valley including 14,000 meals for Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.
