The Award-Winning Mixologist Will Craft Inventive Cocktails For Venues Across Wynn And Encore Resorts

LAS VEGAS, NV – Acclaimed mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini has joined Wynn Las Vegas  as the resort's new mixologist. The Las Vegas native has been recognized as a leading cocktail alchemist and is known for her molecular prowess with multi-sensory experiences, utilizing techniques such as cham-feign foams, showstopping edible garnishes, and liquid nitrogen flourishes.

In her new role, Mercer Boarini will work with bars and restaurants throughout Wynn and Encore to reinvent their cocktail programs, bringing a sense of whimsy and delight to the already beloved cocktail destinations with her exquisite, eye-catching twists on cocktail favorites. Notable among her projects is the creation of cocktail menus for several highly anticipated new restaurant concepts debuting at Wynn later this year.

Already, Mercer Boarini has been captivating guests at Wynn with a collection of new, spring-worthy libations, including showstoppers such as The Vespa at Costa di Mare featuring Belvedere Mango Passion Vodka, Italicus Bergamot Liqueur, cardamom, ginger, lemon and butterfly pea blossom, topped with a signature cham-feign foam and delicate basil-scented, edible art piece.

Mercer Boarini began experimenting with molecular mixology in 2007, creating a molecular kitchen at home for her research and experimentation. She is a veteran of the hospitality and food and beverage industries with extensive experience in the Las Vegas market, and widley recognized as one of the top mixologists on the Strip. Additionally, she is the founder, president, and creative director of Wanderlush, a cocktail consulting and branding agency; as well as the creator of Electricdust™, a revolutionary flavor and sensation enhancement that engages the senses as you drink.

In addition to taking home the global title at The Opihr World Adventure Cocktail Competition in Morocco in 2015, Mercer Boarini has also been named "Top Bartender in Las Vegas" and one of the "Top 10 Female Bartenders in the World."

Mercer Boarini will host a private master class at Wynn Las Vegas on Friday, April 23 at 2 p.m., giving guests a preview of her new line of luscious cocktails while sharing pro tips and tricks for raising the bar on home entertaining.
